A short discussion was held regarding the success of the "Fall Celebration" in Granville. There was good attendance at the event and everyone was pleased with the overall success of the event. The club was represented at the event by Dale and Dedee. Dedee reportedly sold a lot of carvings during the event.
Announcements of upcoming events
1. October 15-16 is the "Wilson County Bank Oktoberfest" in Lebanon. Matt, Phil, Jon, Butch and Patricia indicated they would represent the club at this event.
2. October 17-20 is the "Tannehill Woodcarvers Retreat" at Camp McDowell (Navuoo), Al. Gene, Clark, Phil, and Rich will attend that event.

Show & Tell
Two members had carvings to show at the meeting. First, Gene had a bear carved in cottonwood bark, a rabbit, and an old time Santa.
